The White Midi

So, i've had my eye on this dress for a long time now. I'm obsessed with Zara enough as it is, but way back when I first stumbled upon (There was no stumbling really, I very intentionally went on to zara's website and clicked 'lookbook') this beautifully romantic white lace midi dress, I fell in love immediately.
Stunning isnt it?
So long story short, I bought it. Yep, after weeks of sticking to my purchasing diet I had a huge moment of weakness. This was one of 4 purchases I made that day, all of which I have convinced myself are necessary for my trip round europe. I mean, come on, this is meant for strolling down a St Tropez beach on a warm afternoon in June. I think it would be a lot worse if I didnt have it. Right?

However, I couldn't wait to wear it and so it made it's debut this saturday just gone at my sisters boyfriends 21st birthday party.

On my holiday I will wear tan sandles and nothing else atall. The dress will speak for itself :)
Thanks lots!.

Long time...

Wow, it's been forever!
My lack of posts come down to two the lack of owning two tools which are essential to creating and maintaining a blog, these are:
1. A Camera 2. A Computer of some sort.
Luckily for us all I have finally crossed off number 1!!
*The crowd goes wild*
I know, I know, it's a very beautiful thing, and this brilliant news comes in the form of a Nikon Coolpix s3300

Isn't it wonderful??

My buying of a camera came about as I am about to go on my travels around Europe. My friend i'm going with has a really amazing, and expensive, camera and shes told me for ages how I should save my momey as we can all just use hers. Lovely of her, I know, but I just feel I need my own and i'm sure she'll thank me when we're there as I will not have to bug her every 2 seconds to get a photo of me looking extremely happy about being away. I've had my eye on a coolpix for a long time, since the advert showing Robbie Williams and a cat hitching a lift off a turtle aired, its such a lovely smooth working camera, its light weight, tough and also looks so very pretty, perfect!!

Anyhooo, lots has happened since I last posted, one of which I cant believe I haven't posted about yet! My friend and I very luckily got the chance to attened Labrinths album launch!! Yes, I know, unbelieveable!! We travelled to London the day of, with just enough time for a lovely wander around the posh streets of londan and a bite to eat before going back to out hotel to get ready for the main event! We both LOVE his music so much and have been following him from day one when he was just known as a producer. It was a lovely night in which he preformed amazingly a mere 3 foot away, we got to meet lots of lovely people, all also major fans, and the man himself!!
I was stuck for what to wear till the very last minute, lack of funds meant I was unable to buy anything new which lead to me taking half of my wardrobe along with me, In the end I settled on my black zara dress, featured in my post: My love for black

I wore my black jeffery campbell lita boots, a black clutch and silver jewellery. The main piece being my Vivienne Westwood Orb Chain.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
Some other pictures from the night.....

Smashed it!!

What a lovely welcome home.

After an early start this morning I couldn't wait to leave uni and get back home to have the cup of tea I regretfully missed out on because of the inability to wake up on time. Anyway, my day was made marginally better by the sight of two catalogues on my doormat. 'SPRNG/SUMMER SEASON 2012' from H&M and 'SPRING TWENTY TWELVE' from Urban Outfitters. I was happy, happy, happy.

I think H&M is the most occuring brand in my wardrobe. Some of my favourite and most reliable pieces are H&M.

There's so much I want!!!, here are a few......

Pretty summer dress!!

Love this rose/wine colour!

Perfect summer throw on!
 NOW PREPARE YOURSEVES,
THESE TWO OUTFITS ARE UNBELIEVEABLE. I NEED THEM IN MY LIFE, NOW. PLEASE.

FAINT.

I see Urban Outfitters as a luxuary. I don't have the money to shop there all the time, but if i did, believe me i would. Each time i visit the shop i pick out outfits i would dress the windows and mannequins with. I enjoy this lots.

Picks I would buy at the drop of a hat.

I would pair with a bright pink wide pleated skirt and black chunky wedges.

Beautiful.

Yes please.

My favourite of all.
Thanks lots!.

My love for black.

You can't really go wrong wearing black.
Black can be eligant and pretty, yet also grungy. There's so much you can do with it, a blank canvas.
Many signature staples are black.
Wardrobe essentials; the leather jacket, classic pants, the LBD and Doc Marten boots, are all at their best when black.

YSL High-waisted cashmere wide-leg pants

Doc Martens.
My favourite jacket. H&M
And the LBD....

I'm in love - Zara

I've also been on the look out for a black jumpsuit, if possible, i'd like one the exact match of the one Audrey Tautou wears for the chanel advert in grand central station in new york.....  thanks.

Apologies for lack of photo quality.

Thanks lots!.

New Year, new fringe.

Wow. It's been a while.
Since I last posted we've had the wonderful festivities that are Christmas and New Year.
I hope, like me, you have had a lovely time and, took full advantage of the excuse 'it's Christmas' for constant consumption of food and alcohol, as well as looking forward to a whole new excitement filled year.
I did very well off santa and although secretly I longed to find a pile taller than myself of crappy toys which took hours to put together and needed 6 of some sort of battery foreign to our household, I very much appreciated  my more sophisticated gifts including vivienne westwood, jeffery campbell, swatch and marc jacobs. I am a very lucky lady.
One gift I especially loved and will remember for the rest of my life, was a trip to New York!!!
It is something my family had wanted to do for a good few years and it was just so surreal to be in the big city.

Some photos from over xmas and new year:

Christmas day!!,
Dress: Missguided.co.uk, Tights: H&M, Shoes: Jeffery Campbell Lita.

Night out.
Shirt: H&M, Skirt: New Look.

Night out.
Skirt: Lipsy, Shoes: JC Lita's.

NYE!!
Dress: Zara, Necklace: Vivienne Westwood, Shoes: JC Lita's.
I was determined not to buy anything to take to new york as I thought my christmas money would be much better spent in the famous new york shops, but, I just couldn't resist this floral midi number from topshop. When we were over there it was my mum and dads anniversary, so to celebrate, we visited a very swanky restaurant and this was my chosen outfit. I hope you like as much as I do.

Apologies for the awful picture quality!
This is what i wore for my interview, it's a favorite of mine, i think it's smart without being boring! ;D

I don't have a photo of what i wore out saturday night which is a shame cause i loved it lots!, i'm sure i'll wear it again though so i'll post it then :)

Professor green was AMAZING. I have always liked him but now I have nothing but love for him and his team. Rizzle Kicks also smashed it, my new favourites.
